The Leadership
The concept for Canopex was developed by two engineers, one with considerable experience in petroleum industry canopy design, construction, and repair, and the other with extensive experience in project management, inspection, and maintenance.
Neil Winter is the President of Canopex. Neil is also CEO of Enloe Aluminum, where he has been employed for the past 16 years. His years of experience in the canopy construction and repair business enabled him to identify the trend in structural failures, diagnose the causes, and recommend creative solutions. Neil began working with other engineers to identify the most effective technology available for safely evaluating the condition of a canopy. He and his team have developed a patent-pending inspection process and comprehensive technician training program to facilitate the launch of the Canopex franchise model. Neil holds a BS in civil engineering from Purdue University.
Eric Wilson is the General Manager of Canopex. Eric has extensive experience in engineering and operations management, project coordination, and maintenance. During his tenure as a maintenance engineer with DuPont, Eric gained valuable knowledge in ultrasonic inspection, a process that is an integral part of the Canopex protocol. Using his management and technical expertise, Eric has played a key role in developing this franchise opportunity for engineers and other technically trained personnel who possess an entrepreneurial spirit. Eric holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Clemson University.
